Vibroroller VК-24 is a high-capacity heavy compactor operating in vibroimpact mode at ambient temperature down to –30°C. Vibroroller is characterized with maneuverability that permits to carry out layer vibratory or static compacting of soils when building road beds, dams and other constructions where automatic control of compacting soil quality takes place. Constructively vibroroller VК-24 is designed by standard plan from power and operating modules connected to each other by two-plane hinge. Round glazing of vibro- and sound-proofing cab gives good visibility for operator and possibility to control the roller edge. Transmission Transmission is hydrostatic and two-ranged: I range - with driving wheels and driving roller with hydrodifferential joint between them. II range - with driving wheels (transport mode). Combined hydrostatic system of run and of operation control with stage-free change of tractive force, speed and vibration frequency. Operating brakes of hydrostatic action are actuated, if control lever is located in neutral position “stop”. Wheel and roller parking brakes are of disk type and constantly closed with spring locking and hydraulic release during run. Operating equipment Vibroroller operating body – ballast roller with built-in vibroexciter installed on vibroinsulated supports on the frame. Vibroroller hydraulic system is multi-purpose, separate-aggregated with maximum pressure of working fluid in hydraulic system of control and steering clutches not more than 12 MPa. Flat and cam roller with adjustable debalancing mechanism that has bearings in oil bath and planetary reducer connected to frame and driving reducer unit by rubber-metal shock absorbers. Number of applied roller units are unified together with serially produced ones for tractors of T10M type to carry out maintenance and repair on base of service net of ChTZ engineering machine family.
