The tractor-mounted bulldozer DET-320 is equipped with the electric mechanical transmission, the winch of tractive force 50 tons and the ripper-stumper; its power is 350 hp. The machine is equipped with the dozer blade, in railroad clearances. The assembly is able to perform a wide range of operations due to the mounted equipment: area leveling, heavyweight loads’ towing, housebreaking, loosening, repair-and-renewal operations at the railroads, etc.
The higher demands for the environment safety, ergonomics, comfort and safety precautions required development of a machine meeting the up-to-date tasks. The recommendations of the main consumers of the industrial tractors as well as the many years’ experience of DET-250M2 operation were taken into account when designing the new diesel electrical tractor DET-320. The tractor DET-320 is equipped with the new facing, and with the latest quick-detachable cab of improved visibility. The manifold plate glasses were applied to pane the cab: as a result the heat and noise insulation of the working seat was significantly increased.
Considering higher safety (including mounting of the engine JAMZ, improvement of the undercarriage due to reinforcement of the bogie frame side-members and due to use of the torsion bars of the same rigidity which were closed on the bogie frames instead of the tractor frame: it provided the improved maintainability of the whole assembly) and improvement of the outer and inner design the bulldozer kept its advantages differing it from the other competitors: low ground pressure, the highest transport speed and stageless adjustment of the tractive and speed gears.
The engine JAMZ-7511.10-18 of operating power 350 hp installed instead of the engine V-31M4 is specified by long service life, lower specific fuel consumption as well as it meets the standards EURO-II. At this it is provided the change from the ejector engine cooling system to the classical one with use of the front cooler.

The frame is improved; the undercarriage flexible suspension with changed torsion bars’ design (to make their maintenance easier) provides the maximal smoothness of travel and high working speeds. |

To increase the service life of the undercarriage the bogie frame side-members are reinforced, the applied torsion bars of the same rigidity are closed to the bogie frame instead of the tractor frame. |

The idlers are designed as the solid ones of the closed type to increase the reliability of the undercarriage. |

In the control hydraulic system of tractor and mounted equipment two gear pumps NSh-100 are mounted instead of the complex and expensive axial-piston one. The tractor and mounted equipment control gear is changed. |

The latest quick-detachable two-seat cab is equipped with the manifold plate glasses. It allowed increasing the heat and noise insulation of the operator seat. The cab is equipped with the hot-air heater and conditioner “RIO-3000”. |

To avoid the electrolyte steam getting into the cab the box with the storage batteries is mounted on the tractor left-hand mudguard. It is designed as the thermos – with double walls with heat-protection material between them. In winter warm air is charged into the box. |
